Riesling Week, July 26 - August 1, 2010

During the week of July 26 - August 1, the European Union and Wines of Germany will sponsor the sixth annual “Riesling Week,” a celebration of the diverse Rieslings from Germany, Austria and Alsace. During this week, restaurants in New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Miami will offer consumers and Riesling enthusiasts the chance to sample different styles of European Riesling by the glass. In addition, retailers will host free European Riesling tastings throughout the week.

Riesling Rendezvous, July 11-13, 2010

The Destination Riesling Campaign will be a sponsor at this summer's Riesling Rendezvous, a series of tastings, food pairings and workshops at Chateau Ste. Michelle in Seattle. During the three-day event, Destination Riesling will host a seminar that will feature wines from several of Germany's top young stars of Riesling.

Aspen Food & Wine Classic, June 19-21, 2010

The Destination Riesling Campaign will appear at the Aspen Food & Wine Classic, the premier food and wine festival in the U.S. that caters to a targeted group of 5,000 wine enthusiasts and VIP members of the trade and media.

Toast of the Town, Spring 2010

Presented and executed by Wine Enthusiast magazine, The Destination Riesling Campaign will appear at the following Toast of the Town events in 2010:

  • Atlanta - April 8th, Georgia Aquarium
  • San Francisco - April 22nd, War Memorial Opera House
  • Chicago - May 6th, Field Museum
  • New York - May 24th, David H. Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center
  • Washington, DC - June 11th, National Building Museum

Riesling & Co. Vintage Tastings

Join us for the NYC consumer tasting on Thursday, May 13 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Tribeca Rooftop (2 Desbrosses Street) to taste European Riesling from more than 50 wine producers, many of whom will be on-hand at the tasting.

Savor Dallas

March 5-7, 2010
The Destination Riesling Campaign will have a presence at Savor Dallas for a weekend of food and wine events, including the International Grand Tasting - which brings together over 500 wines and spirits and an array of signature treats from 60 area chefs - and a "Wine Stroll" through Dallas' downtown Arts District.

Riesling Week

Wines of Germany and Destination Riesling will partner up for the fifth annual Riesling Week, an event that showcases the wide range of styles and versatility of the great Rieslings of Germany, Austria and Alsace. Held at restaurants around the country, this year's events will center around New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Las Vegas and Miami.

Savor Dallas

On March 6-7, The Destination Riesling Campaign will appear at Savor Dallas for a weekend of events that will feature 500 wines and spirits and an array of signature treats from about 60 area chefs.

Riesling Fellowship

New York, December 1
The Riesling Fellowship, hosted by Wines of Germany and the EU in cooperation with the recently launched International Riesling Foundation and Institute of Masters of Wine, will feature a NYC tasting that celebrates Rieslings from around the world.
